Who has access to information about you? We do not allow third parties to use our email lists for marketing. We do not partner with or have special relationships with any ad server companies. Access is limited to CertTest and subcontractors as required in the performance of job duties. How is the information used? We do not sell, lease or rent any customer information nor share your email address with third parties. We may share your information with our subcontractors as necessary to complete your transaction or fulfillment of your request. To help service your request, we may ask for your contact information and demographic information such as your job title. During class registration you are required to provide this information to complete your purchase. Your credit/debit account numbers are only used for individual transactions with the credit card company processing, and never shared with anyone else. We do not retain account numbers "on-file" for future transactions. Your class attendance records may be shared with professional certification organizations or related affiliates. CertTest also uses customer information to identify, develop and market products and services we believe will be of value to you. We use aggregate demographic information about our audience to improve our offerings, marketing and industry reporting. With your permission, we may use your name, title and/or contact information in a reference or marketing testimonial concerning your satisfaction with CertTest. We comply with both U.S. Privacy and EU Data Privacy laws to the extent those laws apply to the information CertTest maintains. Please be aware that several regulations require us to grant government agencies access to the data you have disclosed to CertTest. We cooperate with law enforcement and government requests. We may disclose any information necessary to protect the interests of CertTest or pursue civil or criminal prosecution. Technology & Security We maintain strict physical controls, electronic safeguards and administrative procedures to protect personal information. Each credit card transaction requires the buyer to fax back to us the signature authorization form. CertTest is 100% Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliant. According to PCI regulations, you should NEVER send your account or credit card numbers to anyone via email due to the inherent lack security. Credit/debit account numbers, copies of checks and signature authorization forms are archived in locked storage with account numbers truncated after each transaction. We continuously monitor our information security activities to maintain compliance with these directives. Data Retention We retain records for as long as deemed necessary to service the management objectives of our business. Records identified as obsolete are destroyed by means of magnetic deletion or physical destruction using shredding or burning. Specials, Surveys, Contests & Email By registering for our drawing and contests, you must have a valid email address to receive our announcements. By entering you agree to receive our announcements and notices via email. You may opt-out to cancel your entry and stop the related email. If you choose to opt-out, your name is removed from the eligible entries. See our official rules for details. Upon request we may provide site visitors with access to unique identifier information (e.g., customer number or password) that we maintain about them, transaction information (e.g., dates on which customers made purchases, amounts and types of purchases) that we maintain about them, contact information (e.g., name, address, phone number) that we maintain about them , a description of information that we maintain about them. Consumers can access this information by writing to us at the address below. Consumers can have this information corrected by writing to us at the address below, or by telephone with a reasonable means of personal authentication.
