Students typically register for the exam at least 16 days before the test date in order to take advantage of the $ 100 cost saving for early exam registration.

It's a much more pleasant experience.
Q: Can I really pass the CISSP exam the first time ?
Yes, with the right preparation. You can recognize it's just a four hour exam that you can always retake if you fail. But you may never get another chance to lead an important security project if you fail in the eyes of your boss. CertTest specializes in helping you master using the CBK in your career. We custom tune exercises to relate to your interest. Self study is better than none - but self study sure takes a lot of effort and more time. Our class saves you time without wasted effort. You'll learn much faster.
Q: How does the CISSP compare to other information security certifications ?
CISSP is a vendor independent top level certification covering many of the critical concepts, objectives, and terminology. The CISSP designation will get you noticed by management or perspective employers.
CompTIA's Security+ is a beginner program similar to A+ or Network+. The purpose of Security+ is to help you standardize a minimum level of training for a group of staff workers. Security+ is a good base for those that don't meet the CISSP or SSCP experience requirement. Eligable persons should proceed directly for CISSP/SSCP.
Most vendor programs simply focus on configuring and supporting their product. Which means your time is limited to their support, and does not include the skills areas covered by the CISSP.
