Q: How does CertTest compare to DRII training ?
CertTest is a "how to do it" course for beginners and experienced professionals. CertTest provides more usable content than DRIII's two day or five day accelerated program. We build genuine BC plans for investors and corporations. True business continuity incorporates serious plans for generating more revenue. DRII and our competitors are still focused on building disaster protection plans as a form of insurance. Any smart investor and executive will confirm that loss of sales, investors backing out, loss of a major client or missed revenue opportunities constitute a true disaster. CertTest will teach you methods that few people understand to enable gain not just proect from loss. CertTest's unique methods give you the keys to gain executive support with financing for your plan. WE CAN HELP YOU IF your sponsor failed to endorse your suggestions. Nearly 100% of our plans receive funding with a signed executive charter.
Q: Why is CertTest different ?
CertTest wrote the book on successful plans. Our small company wants your business. We have to try harder, Do better, and Give people a reason to consider us. Get to know us and see the results - You will be very pleased.
Q: Why is CertTest class only three days long ?
The CBCP study material could be fairly described as broad and dry. We realize you already understand the basic concepts of business and managing projects. CertTest will focus on teaching you the most important points necessary to deliver a working plan, a plan that will make your boss proud. We have heard many comments about training at competitors which appear to be geared for simply answer coaching you to pass the exam. However those attendees of our competitor expressed they felt unprepared to actually practice or create a real BC plan. CertTest adds depth within a total framework to be successful. We care about your success. Our easy to master methods fit neatly into a three day class.
Q: Should I register for the Exam before attending class ?
Usually not. Most students wait until after completing the CBCP Exam Prep class. You should schedule your exam after you feel comfortable with the subject material. The DRII exams are available via computer at Prometric Testing Centers worldwide and by attending a live test at various trade shows.
Q: How do I register for my exam?
Visit the DRII.org web site to register. All DRII wants is your payment and to know your preference for a live proctor test or test at Prometric. Nothing else is required to take your exam. You will need to submit your application to be certified after you pass the exam.
Q: What if DRII rejects my work experience?
To prevent certifying the wrong people, DRII requires experience claims to be verified by your employer, manager or client. You will be awarded Associate level certification if DRII is unable to verify your experience. You can re-apply for CBCP once you gain more experience or have more experience that can be verified.
Q: Will passing the exam automatically certify me ?
After you pass the exam, DRII will send you instructions to complete the certification process. Be sure to read our CBCP certification how-to for more information.
Q: Can I really pass the CBCP exam the first time ?
Yes, after attending our course. The issue is knowing what to study without going overboard. We focus your study on just what it will take to insure your success. Our goal is for you to pass the first time. Just read some of the comments from our past students.
Q: What if I'm already studying on my own or with some friends. Would CertTest benefit me ?
Yes. Our instructors are professional experts capable of eliminating guesswork by showing you exactly what you need, in a manner that will work for you. We custom tune our examples to relate to your specific interest. Self study is better than none - but self study forfeits the insider techniques that convert you from a "PPP" professional paper pusher into a true expert of application.
Q: How does the CBCP, ABCP, and MBCP compare ?
CBCP is a vendor independent top level management certification covering all the critical concepts, objectives, and terminology. CBCP designation is for individuals with at least two years of experience. DRII will check your references.
ABCP is the Associate Business Continuity Planner certification. It was designed for individuals with less than 2 years experience in business continuity. You can move up to CBCP once you have the experience. ABCP is an excellent starting point.
MBCP is the Master Business Continuity Planner. Individuals are required the have at least five years of substantial experience, personal interview, write a paper on continuity, and pass the MBCP examination. The path is to complete CBCP then embark on MBCP.
