Joe DeVoss

Joe DeVoss has a broad range of experience in operations, finance and marketing in transportation, logistics and manufacturing. He holds the PMP certification from the Project Management Institute and is a Certified Fellow in Production and Inventory Management awarded by APICS, the Operations Society. He has held positions from analyst to management for Conoco, Tesoro Petroleum and regional trucking companies the areas of transportation operations and capital projects. During his more than twenty years as a professor of business and operations at DeVry University he taught operations, information systems and project management. Additionally, he taught APICS certification courses and consulted in systems design and forecasting for such firms as Peterbilt, DSC, Fujitsu Electronics, Taylor Publishing and BNSF railway. He graduated from the University of Evansville with a BA in economics, an MBA from Wichita State University and the University of North Texas with MS in accounting and business information systems. Joe lives in Texas with his family. For relaxation he enjoys travel, photography and family activities.
